In addition to the relaxation, you will enjoy the relief from common every day stressors; stiff neck, knots, chronic muscle pain, fibromyalgia, tension headaches, mental and emotional stress and others. Stretches and mobilizations may be employed. The amount of the body that is massaged during the session is directly related to the amount of time scheduled, your needs, and physique. Generally clients are completely undressed during the session and kept under draping at all times to preserve modesty. Only the area currently being worked on is exposed. Underpants are optional, retaining them decreases hip contact. A chair massage while you are completely clothed in the Happy Muscles office is available for up to 30 minutes. $1.00 per minute Deep Tissue Massage is an approach that is area specific and penetrates with deep manipulation into underlying muscle fiber layers using Swedish, Myofascial Release, Trigger Point Therapy, and deep friction. This therapy can be intense and requires good communication between you and your therapist. However the rewards are tremendous in terms of releasing muscle tension and adhesions within the deep fascia of the body. Hot packs, essential oils (used for their analgesic and anti-inflammatory properties), and stretching are part of this massage as well as learning relieving stretches that you can do at home. Often the stones are basalt stones which are black volcanic rocks that absorb and retain heat well. Happy Feet Foot Packages
Soft and Sweet This package includes a 30 minute IonicSpaTM treatment to remove toxins and soften feet. Then you receive a 15 minute foot massage or reflexology with cucumber heel cream to relax and to address tired and sore feet. This cream is specially designed to moisten and soften the dry cracked skin on your feet.
